The Grey King by Susan Cooper has 165 pages, and no illustrations. This book was published in 1975 by Alladin Paperbacks. It cost about $4.99. In this book three characters named Will, Bran, and the Raven Boy have a dangerous adventure. They want to find the Grey King through the mysterious cadfans way. Throughout Will's life he always hears the legend about the Grey King. So one day he goes off with his best friend Bran to find the Grey King. On their adventure they find the Raven Boy who lives in mountains. He has the power to call. Will, Bran and the Raven Boy risk their lives on an adventure you would want to read about. The Grey King book was an exciting and mysterious adventure. This book is realistic fiction. I think the Auther should have made the letters bigger in the book, because it was hard for me to read. I loved this because all the cliff-hangers made me want to read more, so I never stoped reading. I think kids ages 10-13 should read this book because it has a lot of violence and really hard words like ''amphious'' and ''immortality''. This book is a great Newbery Honor book I recommend you read.
